Luxury pools ยท Sydney

Luxury pool builders for Sydney's finest homes.

Bespoke concrete pools drawn to the architecture, engineered in house, and finished to the standard the house is held to. A select number of projects each season, across Sydney since 1968.

The brief

A pool that belongs to the house.

A luxury pool is not a bigger version of a standard one. It is designed for the house, the site and the light, and built so the detail survives from the drawing to the water. That asks for concrete, because only a poured, steel-reinforced shell can be shaped to a clifftop, a harbour edge or an architect's line without compromise.

Wright Pools has built at that level since 1968. Three generations of the family, structural engineering done in house, and a small number of projects taken on each season so each one has the attention it needs. We are recommended by leading Sydney architectural practices, and much of our finest residential work is drawn alongside the home's architect and landscape designer.

The result is a pool that reads as part of the building. A fully tiled interior, an infinity edge held dead level over a view, an integrated spa, a glass wall set into the shell. For the difference between the materials, see concrete vs fibreglass. For the wider service, see our residential pools.

What sets the work apart

Where a luxury pool is decided.

01
Drawn to the architecture
Any shape, depth or edge. The pool follows the house and the site, not a mould, so it sits as though it was always there.
02
Engineered in house
Our own structural team engineers every shell to hold on a steep, rocky or harbour block. No outsourced sign-off, no design cut back to suit.
03
Premium finishes
Fully tiled interiors, natural stone coping, infinity and glass edges, integrated spas and water features drawn in from the start.
04
Discreet, single-supervisor delivery
One Wright supervisor runs the build from the first dig to handover. The site stays tightly held and the client deals with one team.

Frequently asked

Luxury pool questions.

What makes a pool a luxury pool?
A luxury pool is designed for the house and the site rather than chosen from a range. It is built in concrete so the shape, depth and edge can be drawn freely, finished in premium stone and tile, and engineered to sit on a difficult harbour or clifftop block. Details such as an infinity edge, a fully tiled interior, an integrated spa or a glass wall are what separate a luxury pool from a standard one.
Do you work with architects on luxury pools?
Yes. Much of our luxury residential work is designed alongside the home's architect and landscape designer, and Wright Pools is recommended by leading Sydney architectural practices. We engineer the shell in house so the pool holds to the architect's detail rather than the design being cut back to suit a builder.
How much does a luxury pool cost in Sydney?
A luxury concrete pool is a significant build, driven by the site and the finish rather than a set price. Excavation and rock, structural engineering for a steep or harbour block, a fully tiled interior, premium coping and features such as infinity edges all add to the figure. We quote precisely after a site visit. Our cost guide explains the factors that move it.
Do you build discreetly for high-profile clients?
Yes. We build for private clients across Sydney's most established addresses and handle projects discreetly. A single Wright supervisor runs each build from the first dig to handover, so the site stays tightly held and the client deals with one team throughout.
