Sydney wide ยท Since 1968

Concrete pool builders in Sydney.

Bespoke concrete pools designed and built across Sydney, from the Northern Beaches to the Eastern Suburbs. Family owned since 1968, engineered in house, one supervisor from the first dig to handover.

One Sydney builder

Concrete, and nothing that pretends to be it.

Wright Pools has built concrete pools across Sydney since 1968. Three generations, more than a thousand builds, and one material. We pour steel-reinforced concrete and engineer every shell in house, which is why a Wright pool can be drawn to the block instead of chosen from a mould.

That matters more in Sydney than almost anywhere. The blocks slope, the ground is sandstone, and the best sites are the difficult ones. A concrete pool can be piered onto rock, cantilevered over a fall, or shaped to a harbour view. It also lasts the life of the home, which is the point of building in concrete at all. For an honest read on the trade-offs, see concrete vs fibreglass.

We work residential and commercial. A family pool on the Northern Beaches, a rooftop pool on a city apartment, a hotel or a public aquatic centre. Same team, same standard, same supervisor on site from start to finish.

Where we build

Across Sydney, with our roots on the Beaches.

01
Northern Beaches
Our home ground and the heart of our residential work, from Manly to Palm Beach. See the Northern Beaches page and every suburb we serve.
02
Eastern Suburbs
Harbour and clifftop blocks from Darling Point to Bondi, where a concrete shell earns its place on a tight or sloping site.
03
North Shore
Established gardens and steep, leafy blocks where the pool has to sit with the house and the trees around it.
04
Inner West & Sydney CBD
Courtyard pools on compact inner-city blocks, and rooftop and podium pools on city buildings, built to commercial standard.
05
Central Coast
The northern end of our range, for homes and developments beyond the city where the same team and standard travel.
06
Commercial, city-wide
Hotels, resorts, strata, rooftops and public aquatic centres across Sydney. See our commercial pool work.

Frequently asked

Sydney concrete pool questions.

Who builds concrete pools in Sydney?
Wright Pools is a family owned concrete pool builder based in Belrose that has designed and built pools across Sydney since 1968. The company builds steel-reinforced concrete pools for homes and commercial sites, engineers every shell in house, and holds NSW Builder Licence 246552C. It is one of the longest-running pool builders in Sydney.
How much does a concrete pool cost in Sydney?
There is no single figure, because the site sets much of the cost. Excavation and rock, slope and access, size and depth, the interior finish and the surrounds all move the number. A bespoke concrete pool in Sydney is a significant build rather than an off-the-shelf product. We quote a real figure after a site visit, and our cost guide explains what drives it.
How long does it take to build a concrete pool in Sydney?
Most residential concrete pools in Sydney take fourteen to twenty weeks from contract to handover, depending on access, soil and council approvals. Approvals take a few weeks, then the shell is formed and cured, then coping, finish, plant and commissioning follow. Commercial timelines vary with the wider building program.
Which parts of Sydney does Wright Pools build in?
Wright Pools builds across Sydney, with a residential focus on the Northern Beaches and Eastern Suburbs and commercial work city-wide. The team also builds on the North Shore, in the Inner West, the Sydney CBD and on the Central Coast. Every project is run by a Wright supervisor from excavation to handover.
