A pale interior keeps the water bright against the stone, and frameless glass holds the view open from the house. The spa tucks into one curve of the pool so the whole terrace reads as a single piece.

Why was a freeform shape chosen for the Pulpit Point pool?

The terrace curves with the harbour headland, so a rectangular pool would have fought that line. A freeform concrete shell was poured to follow the edge of the deck, which suits sloping harbour sites where the land itself sets the shape.
