A long-lap concrete pool set into a level Mosman garden. Designed for daily use.
The Hastings brief was simple. A pool the family would swim in every day before school. Long enough for laps, deep enough to dive, shallow enough at one end to teach a child to swim. No water features. No edges. Quiet.
We poured a 14m concrete shell with a graded floor and a bluestone surround. Pebble interior. A single bench seat the full width of the shallow end. The pool has been swum in every morning since handover.
