NORTHERN BEACHES. KILLARNEY HEIGHTS
Steel-reinforced concrete pools drawn for elevated bush-view blocks in Killarney Heights. Designed and built by a family practice in Belrose since 1968.
Building in Killarney Heights
Killarney Heights is a family suburb of homes on elevated streets looking over the Garigal bushland. The blocks run on Hawkesbury sandstone, sloping blocks above Middle Harbour bushland. Each of those things changes how a pool is engineered.
Access shapes the build before anything else. In Killarney Heights that means steep blocks with rock, where excavation is craned out. From there we draft a concrete shell to the slope and the light, often a infinity edges on a block like this.
Killarney Heights is about 9 minutes from Belrose, so our supervisors are on sites nearby through the week. One Wright supervisor stays on your project from excavation to handover, with no subcontractor chain.
