Building in Balgowlah
Balgowlah is a settled family suburb of brick homes and renovated cottages around the village and Stockland centre. The blocks run on sandstone and clay over the rise, gentle to moderate slopes. Each of those things changes how a pool is engineered.
Access shapes the build before anything else. In Balgowlah that means mostly workable side access, with rock excavation on the higher streets. From there we draft a concrete shell to the slope and the light, often a lap pools on a block like this.
Balgowlah is about 18 minutes from Belrose, so our supervisors are on sites nearby through the week. One Wright supervisor stays on your project from excavation to handover, with no subcontractor chain.
