NORTHERN BEACHES. BILGOLA BEACH
Steel-reinforced concrete pools drawn for steep valley blocks in Bilgola Beach. Designed and built by a family practice in Belrose since 1968.
Building in Bilgola Beach
Bilgola Beach is a hidden valley enclave of beach houses tucked below the escarpment. The ground here is Hawkesbury sandstone in a tight valley, and the land sits steep blocks dropping into a narrow beach valley. That mix shapes every pool we draw.
Access here means one tight access road and steep blocks, where craning is usually the only way in. We plan the approach before a price goes out. Concrete is the only material that lets us cut a pool to a site like this, which is why a plunge pools usually suits a Bilgola Beach block.
Bilgola Beach is about 27 minutes from Belrose, so our supervisors are on sites nearby through the week. One Wright supervisor stays on your project from excavation to handover, with no subcontractor chain.
