Building in Curl Curl
Curl Curl is a laid-back beach suburb of cottages and family homes around the lagoon and surf club. The blocks run on deep coastal sand near the beach and lagoon, flat near the beach, rising on the headland. Each of those things changes how a pool is engineered.
Access shapes the build before anything else. In Curl Curl that means sandy ground needs the shell engineered for it, with shallow groundwater on the flats. From there we draft a concrete shell to the slope and the light, often a lap pools on a block like this.
Curl Curl is about 16 minutes from Belrose, so our supervisors are on sites nearby through the week. One Wright supervisor stays on your project from excavation to handover, with no subcontractor chain.
