NORTHERN BEACHES. DEE WHY
Steel-reinforced concrete pools drawn for beach, lagoon and hill blocks in Dee Why. Designed and built by a family practice in Belrose since 1968.
Building in Dee Why
Dee Why is the busy heart of the beaches, mixing apartments near the centre with family homes on the hill. Most blocks sit on sand near the coast, sandstone on the hill, with the land flat near the beach and lagoon, rising to the headland. We read those conditions before a line goes on the page.
On a Dee Why site the first question is access, and here that means mixed, from open beachside blocks to tight units and steep upper streets. Once that is sorted we draw the shell to the block. A lap pools is the build we put on these blocks most often.
Dee Why is about 13 minutes from Belrose, so our supervisors are on sites nearby through the week. One Wright supervisor stays on your project from excavation to handover, with no subcontractor chain.
